This typewriter is classified as a standard typewriter, because it ownes a frontstrike mechanism and a four- rowed universal keyboard.


Merz No. 1

At the time of the roaring twenties, this typewriter was a very high- tech one. It ownes a frame made of Siemens- Martin- steel und hardenet slip planes. Only around 2.600 pieces were made of this model no. 1. Because of this it`s a rather rare collecting- item.
Although it is a small one, this typewriter offers all the benefits of a perfect office typewriter:

- two- coloured ribbon
- treble row space
- carriage release
- platen release
