To write with this typewriter, the type is to be selected by using a lever. By choosing the letter the typeclinder is turned around and positioned above the typing position. The typewheel lowers towards the platen if the scale lever is pressed down.

This small typewriter is a very good example to demonstrate a simple way of visible writing. To realize a large amount of letters the type wheel can be moved two times in the direction of its axis. The first two type-rows on the wheel are holding the letters, the third one holds the numbers and punctuation marks. This machine is chap and light-built but very sturdy. By being able to change the type cylinder and the letter scale one was able to write several kind of types.
