Bar-Lock No. 6

This Bar Lock is classified as an upstike typewriter with a double keyboard. It does not own a shift key to select the different types of a letter. Instead of the shift key this there is one key for each type.

At this typewriter the type shield is to be mentioned, which is extraordinary decorated. It demonstrates the high level of design which was usual at these early times.
The large double keyboard combined with the copper shield does reveal the unique charme of this rare typewriter.
The platen turning knob is constructed as the row- end bell.
